Design Destiny

Coming Home to Family

Every project has a special story behind it. This one involves a home that was “meant to be” for the new owners. Two of only four homes on the picturesque lane with beautiful views of the Ohio river, this home and the home next door were originally built in 1936 for two sisters.

In 2018, upon a move to Cincinnati to be closer to family, this stunning Spanish Colonial home came on the market. Ironically, our client’s sister owned the house next door. It was pure destiny, as these two homes that were built for sisters were once again owned by sisters.

Every room and almost every surface was touched in this interior remodel, where an extensive collection of antiques and artwork were paired with furnishings designed for comfort, giving credence to that old staying “‘cause everything old is new again.”
